As an important industrial equipment, the purity of nitrogen produced by nitrogen generator is crucial. However, in actual use, the purity of nitrogen generator often fails to meet the standard, which is mainly caused by the following key factors.


First of all, the purity of raw gas is the basic factor affecting the purity of nitrogen produced by nitrogen generator. The normal operation of nitrogen generator depends on high-purity raw gas as the starting material. If the purity of raw gas itself is poor, the purity of nitrogen produced will inevitably be greatly reduced. The raw gas may contain various impurities and impure substances, such as moisture, grease, oxygen, etc. These impurities will directly interfere with the purification effect of nitrogen during the nitrogen production process. Furthermore, the aging and damage of the equipment itself is an aspect that cannot be ignored. After a long period of continuous operation, the key components and related equipment in the nitrogen generator will inevitably age or be damaged due to wear, corrosion or other factors, which will directly cause the nitrogen generator purity to fail to meet the standard. Taking the nitrogen separation membrane as an example, if there is damage, the gas will leak, resulting in a significant reduction in the separation effect; if the separation membrane is blocked by impurities, the gas will not pass smoothly, which will also seriously affect the nitrogen purification process. In addition, as an important substance used to adsorb impurity gases in the nitrogen generator, the adsorption effect of the adsorbent will gradually decrease with the increase of use time. Once the adsorbent effect is poor and the impurity gas in the original gas cannot be effectively adsorbed, the purity of the final nitrogen will inevitably decrease. Therefore, in order to ensure the normal operation of the nitrogen generator and the stable compliance of the nitrogen purity, it is particularly important to regularly carry out comprehensive maintenance and meticulous inspection of the equipment. During the maintenance and inspection process, once damaged parts are found, they should be replaced in time to ensure that the equipment is always in good operating condition.

During the operation of the nitrogen generator, the external environmental conditions are not static, and the changes in these environmental factors often have an impact on the performance of the nitrogen generator and the purity of nitrogen that cannot be ignored. For example, when the ambient temperature is too high, some precision components inside the nitrogen generator may change their performance due to overheating, affecting the separation and purification of the gas; when the ambient temperature is too low, some gases may condense, which will also interfere with the nitrogen production process. An environment with excessive humidity may increase the moisture content in the raw gas, or cause condensation inside the equipment, thereby affecting the normal operation of the nitrogen generator and the purity of nitrogen. In view of this, when choosing the installation location of the nitrogen generator, these unfavorable external environmental factors should be fully considered and avoided as much as possible to create a relatively stable and suitable operating environment for the nitrogen generator, thereby ensuring the stability and reliability of the purity of the nitrogen produced by the nitrogen generator and meeting the actual needs of industrial production and other aspects.
