A natural gas compressor is a device used to increase the pressure of natural gas, essential for its transportation, storage, and processing. It works by converting mechanical energy into compressed gas, enhancing its density and transport efficiency. These compressors are widely applied in natural gas extraction, pipeline transportation, liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, and supply to industrial users, playing a crucial role in efficient energy utilization and sustainable development, especially as demand for clean energy rises.
The mother station is the core of the CNG refueling network, mainly responsible for large-scale compression of natural gas and delivery of CNG to sub-stations or other sites through high-pressure trailers.
Compressor features:
- High flow, high power, high pressure output (usually above 25MPa)
- Strong long-term continuous working ability
- Mainly used to compress pipeline natural gas into gas cylinders (or load onto trailers)
- Most of the corresponding equipment is large piston compressors with complex supporting cooling systems
CNG Standard Station Compressor
A standard station is a relatively common type of independent gas filling station, which draws gas directly from the city’s gas pipeline network and supplies gas to vehicles after compression.
Compressor features:
- Medium flow, standard pressure output (20-25MPa)
- Usually used with gas dispensers, gas storage wells, and control systems
- Suitable for daily city buses, taxis, and private cars
- The compressor is designed to be stable and suitable for continuous or intermittent operation
CNG Daughter Station Compressor
The substation does not have a natural gas source and relies on compressed natural gas transported from the mother station via high-pressure trailers, which is then supplied to vehicles after pressure regulation and recompression.
Compressor features:
- Optional or no compressor (such as direct gas filling or only booster compressor)
- If a compressor is installed, it is generally a small booster compressor
- Used to recompress or equalize the CNG unloaded from the high-pressure trailer
Natural gas compressors are used to increase the pressure of natural gas and ensure the stability of gas transportation, storage and use.
Features:
- Suitable for natural gas containing impurities and multiple components.
- Various types to meet different flow and pressure requirements.
- High efficiency and energy saving, stable and reliable operation.
- Equipped with automatic control system to ensure safe operation.
After the equipment is delivered, the company’s commitment to product quality is far from over. No matter when and where the user needs it, we will provide professional services and quickly deliver genuine parts to the user to ensure that the user’s compressor remains in the best working condition. We can also provide the latest technical design to modify your compressor according to the new function and new application of the compressor.
