The Associated Gas Recovery and Efficiency Enhancement Solution for Oilfields is a systematic solution for the collection, treatment, compression, and comprehensive utilization of associated natural gas generated during oilfield development. This solution aims to convert waste gas that would otherwise be vented, burned, or directly emitted into high-value commercial natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), helping oilfield clients achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, increase economic benefits, and realize green and safe production goals.
- Full-chain coverage: Completely covers three core CNG station types: mother station, standard station, and daughter station, meeting the construction needs of different gas source conditions and geographical locations.
- Specialized core equipment: Utilizes dedicated compressor models for each link in the chain (pressure, flow, continuity), such as large-displacement mother station compressors and high-efficiency daughter station booster compressors, achieving optimal matching.
- Highly modular: System units (pretreatment, compression, storage, control) can be modularly designed and integrated, shortening the construction cycle and reducing on-site construction difficulty and costs.
- Intelligent control: Integrates an advanced PLC/SCADA control system, enabling unattended operation, remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, data analysis, and optimized scheduling.
- Strong safety design: From gas purification and compression process monitoring to gas storage and refueling, multi-layered safety interlock protection is implemented throughout, ensuring the safe operation of the entire system.
One-stop delivery: We provide turnkey projects from consulting and design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning to technical training, reducing the burden of multi-party coordination for our clients.
Superior economics:
- Main station: High reliability and large capacity ensure the stability of the core revenue source.
- Standard/sub-station: Optimized equipment selection and energy-saving technologies (such as variable frequency drives) effectively reduce operating energy consumption.
- Full-chain: Efficient transportation and refueling systems reduce gas loss and improve overall operational efficiency.
High investment flexibility: Clients can flexibly choose to invest in a mother station (wholesale gas source), a standard station (direct gas intake), or a sub-station (dependent on transportation) based on their own resources and market conditions. The solutions provide optimal support for all options.
High operational reliability: The core compressor is based on mature technology and is robustly designed for durability. Combined with preventative maintenance services, it maximizes continuous equipment operation and reduces losses from unplanned downtime.
Compliant with environmental trends: We help promote the application of clean energy such as natural gas in the transportation sector, helping clients and society achieve carbon reduction goals and enhance their corporate environmental image.
The entire process flow can be clearly divided into the following core stages:
1.Gas Source and Pretreatment:
Natural gas from urban medium-pressure pipelines or long-distance high-pressure pipelines first enters the pretreatment unit.
It passes through a filter separator to remove solid particles and liquid water.
The pressure is stabilized to the range required by the compressor inlet using a pressure regulating device.
It then enters a deep dehydration and drying unit (usually adsorption type) to lower the dew point to below -60°C, preventing hydrate formation and ice blockage in the high-pressure, low-temperature environment.
2.Core Compression and Distribution:
At the CNG Mother Station: The pretreated natural gas is staged and compressed to 25MPa by the large-capacity CNG mother station compressor. Then, through a sequential control panel, it is efficiently and evenly filled into CNG long-tube trailers according to a preset program.
At the CNG Standard Station: Natural gas is compressed to 25MPa by the standard station compressor and directly injected into the high-pressure storage cylinder group (or storage well) within the station, or dispensed to vehicles via a refueling machine.
At CNG substations: High-pressure CNG (usually reduced pressure) transported by CNG tube trailers serves as the gas source. It undergoes secondary pressurization via the substation compressor (or hydraulic booster skid), increasing the pressure to 25 MPa before being injected into the station’s storage cylinder bank.
3.Storage and Transportation:
Storage: Both standard and substations are equipped with high-pressure storage cylinder banks, divided into high, medium, and low pressure levels. This balances compressor operation with refueling demand, ensuring rapid and continuous refueling.
Transportation: CNG tube trailers are mobile storage and transportation vehicles connecting the mother station and substations, forming a flexible transportation network.
4.Refueling and Sales:
When vehicles refuel, the refueling machine draws gas from the station’s storage cylinder bank in a “low-medium-high” pressure sequence to fill the vehicle’s fuel cylinder.
The refueling machine accurately measures the amount of gas dispensed and completes the sales settlement.
